McGregor Menswear is looking for an (international) casual designer for the McGregor casual lines. The person we are looking for has to have a very good fashion sense, is a well experienced designer in the higher segment of the menswear fashion industry and has a good feeling for quality and style. The candidate has to have an international Anglo-American taste-level. We are offering a fulltime position. Location: Driebergen, the Netherlands Head Office.

Werkzaamheden
• Work on concepts together with the Concept Manager;
• Illustrate concepts by producing mood boards and specification drawings;
• Illustrate and modify designs and specifications;
• Design both woven and knitted styles for the McGregor Menswear collection;
• Select fabrics, yarns and colours;
• Travel within Europe and overseas to gain information on innovative trends and finalize samples with the Product Manager.

Functie-eisen
• At least 5-6 years of working experience in the higner segment of the menswear fashion industry. Experience from abroad is preferred;
• Good education on menswear or at least art academy or royal college;
• Good in silhouettes and combinations;
• Experience in both knitwear and wovens;
• Keen eye for fabrics, yarns, washings and finishes;
• Clear vision and goal setter;
• Teamplayer, inspiring and motivating person;
• Anglo-Amercian vision and pan-European taste level;
• In case living abroad: willing to move to the Netherlands.
